• Lavender – Saponified oils of sunflower* and/or safflower*, coconut*, and palm* (with retained glycerin), essential oils of lavender and lavandin, alkanet root, comfrey root*, rosemary extract.

Superfatting is a process by which soap makers calculate soap recipes to have an excess of different oils in their soaps. The molecular structure of soap is designed to strip away grease and oils (this is how it cleans), but this dries the skin. Formulating with additional superfats counters this.

Our soaps have superfatted formulations. Superfatting soaps does not make your skin oily. Rather, it allows the soap to clean effectively without drying out your skin.
